Local Eco-Friendly Cleaning
Natalia Mordy is known as an environmental advocate in her community. She has done so by starting the first eco-friendly cleaning service in Kelowna, BC. The company has been awarded a 2006 finalist in Okanagan Life Magazine for providing an outstanding cleaning service. A few excerpts from one of Natalia Mordy’s contributing stories: "My aim is not to be mainstream minded -- last time I checked, the stream wasn’t too healthy. We do have to go out on a limb to make an environmental difference, and I am here to encourage you to do so, little by little, bit by bit. Ask yourself the question, what is important to you?
How can you make a difference? What I hope to accomplish is to challenge all my readers to think about the environment in which they live in. I want them to place values on what they might find themselves taking for granted such as clean water, air, green spaces, water for recreation and everyday uses. We need to be educated and aware of our surroundings before it’s too late. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. Do what you can, in your own time and at your own pace. Ask yourself the questions, and take action. It’s your world. "
